Theme: Students Residence Rehabilitation

Location: Ciudad Universitaria, Madrid.

​

Concept:

The aim of the project, as a rehabilitaton of the Student Residence San Juan Evangelista, most common known as ''The Johnny'', is based on one of its most powerful ideals: a place OPEN TO ALL THE CITY, where the common prevails over the private. 

In this way, using this concept which reminds to the format of use of a camping, a new program is designed where the common space is further strengthened, making The Johnny a new meeting and interaction point. A space that allows university students connect with what they are passionate about, camping between class and class in a meeting, working and creative space, THE UNIVERSITY CAMPING.
